These 2020 cut and shaped decks are processed from genuine 1984 Uncle Wiggley 6 Ply Fiberglass / Epoxy Uncut Blanks.  The uncut blanks were kept in storage and have aged very nicely.  They are fully functional and have no delamination issues whatsoever.  The concave is the UWS series 1 concave.  The UWS series 1 concave molds were engineered around 1980 or so.... So therefore they are quite "MELLOW" by todays concave standards.   The blanks that these decks are produced from were the last and final run of the series 1 concave 6 ply Fiberglass / Epoxy blanks that UWS produced.  UWS ended up making the last of this super mellow concave around 1984 or so.   The reason for this was that the industry standard for concaves was becoming quite steeper / deeper and "Nose Kick" was just starting to come into play.  The iconic "ARGYLE" decks, the "10 x 30" decks and the classic Uncle Wiggley "FISHSTICK"  were all produced from this same mold series and presses that produced the uncut blanks that make up these vintage decks that have been cut out and shaped and had graphics put on them relatively recently.
